We are in the business of helping everyday people, to find, enjoy and be confident in the career of your design.
What I can do for you
Being seen as an individual is one of the most important gifts I can offer you as my client. I aim to create a safe space for you to share your situation and be yourself so that we work together to achieve your desired outcomes.
I take pride in understanding and valuing my clients’ specific needs as we look to move you forward towards your career goals or mindset changes.
How I came to be a career coach
Starting my career journey in a time of recession, with jobs hard to come by, and many applications rejected. I learnt early on that success was about resilience, highlighting the skills that I do have and taking the opportunity to learn the ones I didn’t.
I understand what it is like when the job market is tough, when you are feeling rejected and downtrodden by your job search, or the career you have chosen.
As a working mum, I resigned from a 12-year career that I had built from the ground up. Years later, when the time was right to return to the workforce I found myself at a crossroads, did I return to what I knew – if they would have me? Or should I start anew and reinvent myself?
Three years after that we decided to move countries and start over in a foreign environment with no local experience, at an older age. That decision was one of the hardest I have ever had to make. It is also one of the best, because that decision led me to where I am now and the catalyst that started my journey towards Careerfit46.
My years in recruitment, leadership and coaching, span 2 recessions, the GFC and a global pandemic. Throughout this time, I have been supporting people to achieve their potential and align their skills and interests with their careers.
I have built a reputation for delivering on my word, achieving results in a difficult job market and always taking a personalised and genuine approach. My insight has benefitted further from working with a wide range of international clients, working in a broad spectrum of industries.
I am a Certified Coach with the ICF (International Coaching Federation), I have a diploma in life coaching (achieved excellence) from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies as well as upskilling with the ICF to achieve my Coaching Accreditation (ACC).
Supporting over 500 individual clients so far and having secured multiple contracts through recommendations to deliver group coaching and work resilience programmes is incredibly humbling and something I take immense pride in.
